We spotted this new eatery while strolling along the city and decided to walk in since we were hungry. And you might have guess that Singapore Food sells Singapore food! Reading from the signs and banners that this eatery was selling authentic Hainanese Chicken Rice and the popular Geylang frog porridge dish, we were convinced that we had to try them. Our plate of chicken rice came and it was not too bad. The chicken was tender and cooked quite close to what one would get in Singapore. However the rice was left wanting. It was too dry and not fragrant as it should be. Besides the chicken meat, we added slices of red roasted pork or char siew. It was dark and looked like it was kept for days. Tasted hard too. But overall, the entire dish was salvaged by the soup and chilli. Especially the chilli, it did complete the entire chicken rice experience! The Geylang frog porridge was better. Geylang is the name of a street in Singapore where the best of this popular dish can be found. We liked the texture of the porridge but it wasn't savory enough. The sauce of the cooked frogs was missing the 'omph' that is usually accompanied with every mouth. But the frog was delicious and fresh. Though new, Singapore Food eatery is promising for those who wants a taste of Singapore at a more reasonable price. However, it is yet to be seen if this eatery will be a main stay. Đồ ăn tạm được nhưng giá đắt. Ăn thử 1 phần cơm đùi gà quay, đĩa cơm trông khá đơn sơ với giá 80k.

Đồ ăn ở đây khá ngon và khá giống so với bên Sing. Dĩa cơm vịt quay 60k, gà quay 55k và xá xíu 50k. Đồ ăn ngon nhưng khá ít, thịt chỉ lèo tèo vài miếng. Có 1 điều khá kì cục là 1 dĩa rau muống xào tỏi hoặc cải thìa xào giá tới 80k, đắt hơn cả 1 dĩa cơm với thịt. Chả biết nguyên liệu xào đắt tiền cỡ nào mà dĩa rau muống mắc dã man, có tí xíu. Nhân viên lúc ghi đồ ăn thì cứ cười cười một mình k biết bị gì nữa. Gửi xe 1 chiếc tới 5k mặc dù ngay trước cửa tiệm. Nói chung ăn 1 lần cho biết chứ k chắc sẽ trở lại vì giá quá chát mà k đáng. -
we were pretty hungry and we found this place by chance. It was the afternoon. food: the hainanese chicken rice was okay, my brother liked the chicken but i liked the rice more. i had laksa, the laksa was average (mình cảm thấy bình thường) it isn't the same as singapore. we also ordered a seperate pork dish it was okay. service: the staff were friendly trying to introduce us their foods. ambiance: needs renovation, it is pretty out dated. tables and chairs were clean but the place didn't feel special. price it is cheap return - I do not want

Laksa soup was very average (greasy coconut base, too bland, with fried tofu, stuffed bitter melon, stuffed eggplant). Wonton soup edible (tasteless broth, pretty good wonton). Garnish are poor. Price are very high as regards to quality and quantity. Poor service.
