This wine bistro not only focuses food that matches well with the different wines on offer, but also on its customers having a good and relaxing time. Two floors bring you two different environments: the first floor is laid out with comfy sofas, and resembles a Parisian lounge. Decorated like a wine cellar, the ground floor offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, hosting the main bar and tall tables, it is an ideal place to start the night off. The wine menu has over 90 different varieties, six of which are offered by the glass, and changed every two weeks in order to give guests the opportunity to try new wines prices start at VND490,000 per bottle. Champagne and spirits complement the drink menu. As for food, Le Rendez Vous de Saigon offers a nice selection of dishes. Divided between cold and hot, the cold dishes vary from VND100,000 to VND190,000 per plate, with the hot selections starting at just VND40,000. The menu was designed with wine and sharing in mind, making portions ideal for sharing. We tried some French oysters which were fresh and delicious, served with vinaigrette and perfectly matched with our Sauvignon Blanc. The homemade foie gras was nicely presented. Soft and tasty, melting in your mouth and very delicate. We also tried the soft boiled egg Trilogy - three delicious eggs served plain, with parma ham and smoked salmon, a great combination that goes very well with wine! Finally we enjoyed the traditional Magret de Canard (duck breast) - very rich, tender and elegant, served with a sauce that truly elevated the dish. Our evening was lovely - good food and wine, sounds of ‘the Girl from Ipanema’ being played live next to us by a live jazz band which plays at the restaurant every Friday and sometimes during the week. Le Rendez Vous de Saigon is open 7 days a week from 5pm until late. A great place to meet, relax and enjoy. -
Kỉ niệm 1 năm ngày quen nhau mình dẫn bạn gái vào đây vì cô ấy thích ăn bò, mà 2 con bò, bò Ti Ti hay Steak Box, Ciao Vợ đẹp thì quá thường. Không gian ở đây mang chất bar, tầng dưới có vài cặp người nước ngoài, tầng trên riêng tư hơn nên tụi mình lên tầng trên. Mình cực kì thích khoai nghiền và sốt ở đây (phô mai và blue đều béo vừa phải), rất rất ngon, còn bò thì ngon hơn hẳn mấy tiệm bò mình kể ở trên. Miếng bò mềm tươi, cắn vào đã lắm, vừa chín tới còn tái nhẹ, mình gọi rare medium. Bạn gái mình cũng rất ưng đồ ăn ở chỗ này (dù sao cũng đắt gấp đôi mấy tiệm bọn mình hay đi mà. Nói chung không gian thì thường, nhưng đồ ăn và rượu khá ok, có dịp đáng đáng sẽ đến đây ăn nữa. À, hóa đơn có tính thêm 5% phí phục vụ nhé, hèn chi phục vụ ở đây rất là được.
